"Carry Around Campus" The Official Portal App for Yamato University My Yamato

Following their ambitious goal of "Changing Japanese Universities," we created the UI/design for the official portal app of Yamato University, a university established in Suita, Osaka in the spring of 2014.

Due to the existence of multiple services for contacting and communicating with students, there was a problem of students missing important notifications. As a solution, we developed a new portal application that integrates university announcements, various administrative procedures, and other information, making it user-friendly for both students and faculty members.

nide Inc. participated in the requirements and functionality assessment hearing and took care of the UI and visual design. The front-end and back-end development was handled by our partner, Asial Corporation.

For the primary colors, we adopted three colors that represent Yamato University's educational philosophy: red (passion), black (strength), and gold (distinctiveness). This new university portal app combines anintuitive and user-friendly interface with a beautiful design.

In the future, there are plans to integrate the student identification function, expand the user base to include parents and alumni, and further promote the digital transformation of the university's campus.
